November 2018. The hot air of the presidential election in America is blowing all over the world. Democrat Hillary Clinton vs. Republican Donald Trump. Who will be the boss of the White House for four years? Polls are being opened to try to understand American public opinion. In most polls, Hillary Clinton is ahead of Donald Trump. For the first time in history, Americans were going to get a female president, everyone was pretty sure about that.
But during the election results, everyone's assumptions were proved wrong. Instead of Hillary Clinton, the much-discussed Donald Trump became the President of the United States. In such a hurry, many people sat motionless in the event of shift. There was talk of foreign intervention in the US presidential election. Russia's state-sponsored hackers have been targeted with suspicion.Putin's country has been slammed for campaigning for Trump by spreading propaganda on social media. Hillary Clinton's last-minute mishap over various leaked e-mails has led to her being ousted as possible president, with the Russian intelligence agency KGB blamed for it.
Interference in foreign elections is nothing new for well-known intelligence agencies. Russia's interference in the US presidential election has exposed some of the dark side of intelligence agencies. The CIA itself has been accused of interfering in numerous elections.
After the end of World War II, the world was roughly divided into two parts. The socialist bloc led by Soviet Russia, the democratic capitalist bloc led by America. Soviet Russia or America - both powerful countries became eager to propagate their ideologies. The two countries did not make any concessions to gather others in their camps.
Socialist parties and right-wing capitalist parties were competing in the national elections of different countries of the world to form a government as per the normal rules of the state.If the right-wing parties won, the country would join the American bloc, and if the left-wing socialist parties could form a government, they would join the Soviet bloc, that was the simple equation at the time. This can be considered as the main reason for foreign interference in the national elections of a country.
Because if America or Russia can win over the parties that are in favor of their ideology, their ideological advancement will be proved, their bloc will be a little heavier, their acceptance will be increased among the non-aligned countries - they decided to intervene with these thoughts.
