Hoy en mi país (Venezuela), al igual que en otras latitudes, se celebra el Dia de las Madres, fecha que nos hace rememorar, celebrar y homenajear a aquellas mujeres que nos trajeron al mundo y que hicieron de este un lugar más sencillo para vivir.
El año pasado el destino quiso que la mía dividiera su camino del de nuestra familia y partiera al cielo. Fue en diciembre que escribí este poema titulado Algún Diferente Cuando que lleva inmerso palabras con las que se puede identificar cualquier persona que tenga ausente a su mamá.
Today in my country (Venezuela), as in other latitudes, we celebrate Mother's Day, a date that makes us remember, celebrate and pay tribute to those women who brought us into the world and made this world a simpler place to live.
Last year, as fate would have it, my mother divided her path from that of our family and departed to heaven. It was in December that I wrote this poem entitled Somewhere Different When, which contains words that anyone who has an absent mother can identify with.
La ausencia se nota mucho más en estas fechas en las que las redes sociales se llenan de fotos de esas bellas damas y sus hijos, así que es inevitable no querer rendir algún homenaje, uno debe decir y hacer algo para que esa energía mundial tome forma y libere ese amor que sentimos por ella.
Si tienen a su madre cerca, abrácenla, denle un beso, háganle cariño y consiéntanla cada vez que puedan, no solo hoy, sino siempre.
The absence is much more noticeable on these dates when social networks are filled with photos of those beautiful ladies and their families, so it is inevitable not to want to pay some tribute, one must say and do something for that world energy to take shape and release the love we feel for her.
If you have your mother around, hug her, give her a kiss, give her love and pamper her whenever you can, not only today, but always.
