Saludos Hive Blog y querida comunidad de EspaVlog, @threespeak Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una noticia que ha llenado de emoción y orgullo a todo el pueblo venezolano. El pasado 19 de octubre de 2025, en una ceremonia profundamente espiritual celebrada en la Plaza de San Pedro, el Papa León XIV canonizó al Dr. José Gregorio Hernández y a la Madre Carmen Rendiles. Sí, ahora Venezuela tiene oficialmente dos santos
Este momento histórico fue seguido con devoción por miles de personas, tanto en el Vaticano como desde sus hogares. La fe, la esperanza y el amor por estos dos grandes venezolanos se sintieron en cada oración, en cada canto, en cada lágrima de alegría.
El Dr. José Gregorio Hernández, conocido como “el médico de los pobres”, fue un hombre de ciencia y de fe. Dedicó su vida a atender gratuitamente a quienes más lo necesitaban, y su imagen ha estado presente en los hogares venezolanos por generaciones. Su canonización es un reconocimiento a su entrega, su bondad y su compromiso con el prójimo.
La Madre Carmen Rendiles, por su parte, fue una mujer de profunda espiritualidad y servicio. Fundadora de la Congregación Siervas de Jesús, dedicó su vida a formar comunidades de fe y a servir con humildad y amor. Su legado sigue vivo en muchas obras sociales y educativas que continúan inspirando a nuevas generaciones.
Durante la ceremonia, el Papa León XIV destacó el ejemplo de estos dos santos como modelos de vida sencilla, dedicada al servicio y a la esperanza.
