In the villa Savorelli in Sutri, I was inspired by many trees.
I have already presented one of them in the previous post, , a dead tree strewn on the ground.
This post is about its neighbor, a gigantic tree stump.
I installed the tarp that I usually use to sleep, as a roof, to create an outdoor work space, in front of the stump to make a watercolor.
How nice it is to work in these conditions!
On an A3 sheet of paper, I set up the composition, with the aim to highlight the stark tearing of the stump, in contrast to the soft cool shapes and colors of the background.
The paper I used did not support my work very well, to find the light of the paper by rubbing.
At this point, I added the foliage, small plants and the texture of the wood of the stump.
Time to prepare food and take a step back before making final adjustments.
I use my hiking bag as a chair.

En la Villa Savorelli, en Sutri, muchos árboles mi inspiraron.
En el post anterior, presenté uno de ellos, un árbol muerto tirado en el suelo.
Este artículo trata de su vecino, un gigantesco tocón de árbol.
Instalé la lona sobre la que suelo dormir, a modo de techo, para crear un espacio de trabajo al aire libre, frente al tocón para hacer una acuarela.
¡Qué bonito es trabajar en estas condiciones!
En una hoja de papel A3, monté la composición, con la intención de resaltar el desgarro brutal del tocón en contraste con las formas y colores suaves y fríos del fondo.
El papel que utilicé no soportaba muy bien mi trabajo, para encontrar la luz del papel por el roce.
En esta fase añadí el follaje, las pequeñas plantas y la textura de la madera del tocón.
Es el momento de preparar la comida y dar un paso atrás antes de hacer los ajustes finales.
Utilizo mi bolsa de senderismo como silla.

Nella Villa Savorelli di Sutri, molti alberi mi hanno ispirato.
Nel post precedente ne ho presentato uno, un albero morto che giace a terra.
Questo articolo parla del suo vicino, un gigantesco ceppo d'albero.
Ho installato il telo su cui dormo di solito, come tetto, per creare uno spazio di lavoro all'aperto, davanti al ceppo per fare un acquerello.
Che bello lavorare in queste condizioni!
Su un foglio A3 ho impostato la composizione, con l'intenzione di evidenziare la brutale lacerazione del ceppo in contrasto con le forme e i colori morbidi e freddi dello sfondo.
La carta che ho usato non supportava molto bene il mio lavoro, per trovare la luce della carta strofinando.
A questo punto ho aggiunto il fogliame, le piccole piante e la texture del legno del ceppo.
È il momento di preparare il cibo e di fare un passo indietro prima di apportare le ultime modifiche.
Uso la mia borsa da trekking come sedia.

Dans la villa Savorelli de Sutri, j'ai été inspiré par de nombreux arbres.
Je vous ai déjà présenté dans le post précédent, l'un d'entre eux, un arbre mort jonché au sol.
Cet article est consacré à son voisin, une souche d'arbre gigantesque.
J'ai installé le tarp qui me sert habituellement à dormir, come toit, pour me créer un espace de travail extérieur,en face de la souche afin de faire une aquarelle.
Que c'est agréable de travailler dans ces conditions!
Sur une feuille A3, je mis en place la composition, avec l'intention de mettre en valeur le déchirement brutal de la souche par opposition aux formes et couleurs douces et froides de l'arrière-plan.
Le papier que j'ai utilisé n'a pas très bien supporté mon travail, pour retrouver la lumière du papier par frottement.
A ce stade, j'ai ajouté le feuillage, les petites plantes et la texture du bois de la souche.
C'est l'heure de préparer à manger et prendre un peu de recul avant d'apporter les derniers ajustements.
Je me sert de mon sac de randonnée comme d'une chaise.
