Crows - watercolor on paper step by step.

Crows are among the smartest animals on the planet. They are able to make tools to get food and learn by imitation from humans techniques for solving problems. The most classic is to take off and drop a bone from a great height to break it and feed on the internal marrow.

My subject painted in black and white

Crows are often connected with death in many ancient and modern cultures and are called "prophets of doom". In ancient times a flock of crows was an omen of an epidemic, or a famine, or if a crow croaked near a house, in a short time some of the residents would die.

But back to my watercolor, crows have a bad reputation because they also love to feed on carcasses and the smell of blood quickly attracts dozens of them. In my watercolor I wanted to represent my personal denunciation against the war, in a dramatic and surreal setting.

A hug of peace, without crows.

Crows - acquarello su carta step by step.

Well detailed piece. The colored version is cool. I love it!

thank you so much Marcus.

Amazing work and thank you so very much for sharing.

Thats cool and nice art work.
What if you replaced crows with any other bird?

It wouldn't make much sense, crows also eat corpses.

Hmm ok . By the way art is great
