Hello everyone, today I show you an artwork dedicated to the TV series "The Boys" that I made these days. the TV series, for those unfamiliar with it, is inspired by a very successful American comic, so I want to create a TV series. The series is extreme, in summary it shows us a world in which superheroes are extremely cynical, ambitious and focused on their success, in fact, rather than worrying about saving the world, they are focused on their public image, and thanks to their powers and their positions. prestige rise above humanity, hence the image of my work inspired by an official promotional image, where we see the superhero Patriot in a classic heroic position, but urinating on the city, this image has great potential communicative in fact expresses exactly the concept behind the TV series, in which the hero is in a high position of prestige and does not care about humanity, rather he urinates on it. The creative process of this work was done entirely digitally, I decided to redesign a famous promotional image of the series with my style and after adding the logo and the skyline of the city I applied a grainy filter that gives the work a style very particular. I also wanted to do a black and white variant which I show you below.

Ciao a tutti, oggi vi mostro un artwork dedicato alla serie tv "The Boys" che ho realizzato questi giorni. la serie tv, per chi non la conoscesse è ispirata ad un fumetto americano di grandissimo successo, da qui la voglio di crearne una serie tv. La serie è estrema, in sintesi ci mostra un mondo dove i supereroi sono estremamente cinici, ambiziosi e focalizzati sul loro successo, questi infatti più che preoccuparsi di salvare il mondo sono concentrati sulla loro immagine pubblica, e grazie ai loro poteri e le loro posizioni di prestigio si ergono superiori all'umanità, da qui l'immagine del mio artwork ispirato ad un'immagine promozionale ufficiale, dove vediamo il supereroe Patriota in una classica posizione eroica, ma che urina sulla città, questa immagine ha un grandissimo potenziale comunicativo infatti esprime esattamente il concetto alla base della serie tv, dove l'eroe sta in una posizione sopraelevata di prestigio e non si interessa dell'umanità, anzi gli urina sopra. Il processo creativo di questa opera è stato fatto interamente in digitale, ho deciso di ridisegnare con il mio stile una famosa immagine promozionale della serie e dopo aver aggiunto il logo e la skyline della città ho applicato un filtro sgranato che conferisce all'opera uno stile molto particolare. Ho voluto realizzare anche una variante in bianco e nero che vi mostro qui di seguito.
