I was a young lad of 22 years when I became the CEO of a large company in New York. Actually,my name is Henry Michelangelo. My friends call me Mike for short. Yes,I've got cool friends and a lot of exes. When I learnt that they are all after my money I broke up with them, though it wasn't easy for me. I tried looking for a lady who would love me for who I am. I have a younger sister, who advised me to disguise as a commoner just so I can find true love.
I decided to listen to her. I contacted my best friend, Adam to also accompany me. He agreed and we both went to a club to chill off dressing as a commoner. On getting there, we saw a lot of ladies. We went straight to the bar to take some juice. I am allergic to alcohol. A lady came to sit beside me and we started chatting with each other. She was a lovely person to be with.
Her name is Maxwell Kendra. I remember a company named Maxwell group of companies. But she said she comes from an average family. She asked where I lived but I couldn't answer, Adam quickly told her a fake address which she believed. We exchanged numbers and left the club.
Adam and I went to the address he called for Kendra. We saw a little house abandoned. I decided to buy it and renovate it to a little house for my disguise. I contacted the agent and we agreed on a certain price. I started living there since then. I was going down the street on a beautiful morning when I bumped into someone. I looked at the person and it was none other than Kendra. I was shocked likewise her also.
She told me her address and since then we do go out to places. I asked her out and she turned me down saying "before I relocated here a lot of men has broken my heart, so I find it a little hard to trust men since then". I promised her not to break her heart. She accepted and I told her my story. She pitied me and told me her own story too. She was the daughter of the CEO of Maxwell group of companies. She said she was also looking for true love.
We both decided to make it official. Her father was a good man, and I never regretted knowing her. We decided to get married the next month. Our wedding was the talk of the town.
Lesson of the day, never accept defeat, someone is always there for you.
