Greetings to you all, and thank you for taking the time to read this proposal. BTFG is looking for 75 BEE a day over the next year to increase swap.signa pool pairs, specifically with various game based tokens such as Starbits and Dec.
Our Signum community has already crowdfunded the listing of swap.signa, the creation of swap.signa/swap.hive liquidity Pool, and provided liquidity for that pair.
Now, we are looking to the Hive Community to help us take this to the next level, while also helping players earn game tokens by using nothing more than their unused hard drive space.
Recently, Signum's BTDEX has added Hive and Swap.signa as cross-chain pairs, allowing the community to easily exchange Signa for Hive, as well as deposit Swap.Signa onto Hive Engine. Over the next year, we want to increase the usability of Signa on the Hive Engine by adding game token pairings. This will allow players of those games to use the Signum network to mine Signa, and easily convert to in game currency via Hive Engine.
Our current plans are to add Starbits, Bee, Dec, and Pizza pairs for Swap.Signa. We will be able to add one a month using the 75 BEE a day (for a total of approximatly 2,100 BEE a month)
The cost is 1,000 Bee to set up the pool, 500 Bee to add liquidity for that pool, and the final 600 to be used to create distribution pools to offer LP rewards for both the swap.hive/swap.signa pool, and the newly created pool
After those 4 pools are created, any additional funds will be used to create pairs based on community feedback and suggestion.
What is Signum?
Signum (formally known as Burstcoin) is a Proof of Commitment blockchain that uses preplotted files on your hard drive to mine and secure the network. The successor to the Proof of Capacity Model, miners earn Signa by using both mining plots on your hard drive as well as committed signa to look for the fastest deadline, on average about 4 minutes.
Commitment is similar to pledging and staking only that the coins are locked away. They do not, in themselves, provide a passive income. What they do, however, is increase the quality of your deadlines, giving a bonus to your "Effective Capacity".
Signum is one of the first to implement hard drive mining, and is certainly the oldest currently running, predating Bitcoin HD and Chia by years. You can find out more by visiting https://www.signum.network/
Who is BTFG?
I have been in the cryptocurrency business for at least 15 years, starting out by creating faucet games for Bitcoin (back when it was affordable to do so), and moved on to Burstcoin in 2017, During my time with Burstcoin/Signum, I have ran my own mining pool, and created innovations in that pool that have now become the standard of mining pools in not only Signum, but in other chains as well. This includes, but not limited to, Dynamic Payouts, Message based configuration, and effective capacity based payment methods.
Currently, I run several dividend paying tokens on the Signum Network. BTFGCAKE deals with liquidity pools in both pancakeswap and Hive Engine, BTFGFARM is a consolidated mining group with a flat buy in rate that provides mining at 10,000 signa per TiB commitment, plus other investments, and LISTHIVE, which is the token that was used to community fund the projects we had done so far. BTFGPOOL has merged with Space Pool, as well as joined https://lmsi.club, a group of token providers working to prove that the token community can be trusted. I have been one of the driving forces behind getting Signum listed on Hive, as well as creation of LP and investment.
