This adorable little girl is quite the character. I know young children are typically energetic, but she always seems to have an extra abundance of it. Rarely does she ever sit still...
I've known her since she was about two years old or so, as I've been friends with her father for a few years. I've practically watched her grow up right before my eyes. She is now six and will be starting school this fall.
She's pretty excited about it because she'll get to see one of her good friends during school breaks. I told her that school isn't always fun, but she disagreed.
She has an entrepreneurial spirit that she inherited from her father. Just two days ago, when we went to Serbia, she collected some rocks and a few seashells, and now she's making a profit from them.
She actually sold a few rocks for over $4 the other day... That's more than some of my Hive posts earn in author rewards! :))
Sometimes, her boundless energy can be a bit annoying, but you can't really get upset with kids... They don't know any better...
I remember my own childhood quite well, and honestly, I wouldn't trade mine for what kids experience these days. The educational system is flawed (encouraging kids to change their gender) and early access to technology can negatively impact their development.
We used to spend more time playing outside and were more connected to nature and ourselves. Those were times that can never be recaptured. I suppose every generation says this, and we all tend to believe that our own era was the best.
But what if it's true?...
Anyway, it's time for me to log out for now. I don't want to write lengthy posts anymore, as not many people actually read the text, especially when it comes to photography.
