If you deviate from the usual paths, you can definitely find one or the other jewel. As in this case. We deviated from the main road in Jerez hoping to take a shortcut. By doing so, we ended up in a side street that probably would have looked quite desolate, as natural light hardly has a chance to enter the street due to the narrow construction. A restaurant has decorated the entire street, which not only looks nice, but is a more than suitable place to cool down, especially in the warm midday hours in Spain. The entire street or alley is full of tables and at first we thought that we are no longer on a path, but have walked into a restaurant, but in fact it is really a street.
Wenn man von den üblichen Wegen abweicht findet man durchaus das ein oder andere Juwel. So wie in diesem Fall. Wir sind von der Hauptstraße in Jerez abgewichen in der Hoffnung eine Abkürzung nehmen zu können. Dadurch sind wir in einer Nebenstraße gelandet, die wahrscheinlich recht trostlos ausgesehen hätte, da natürliches Licht aufgrund der engen Bauweise kaum eine Chance hat in die Straße hineinzukommen. Ein Restaurant hat die komplette Straße geschmückt, was nicht nur schön aussieht, sondern gerade in den warmen Mittagsstunden in Spanien ein mehr als geeigneter Ort zum abkühlen ist. Die komplette Straße bzw. Gasse ist voll mit Tischen und zunächst dachten wir, dass wir uns garnicht mehr auf einem Weg befinden, sondern in ein Lokal gelaufen sind, aber tatsächlich handelt es sich wirklich um eine Straße.
