One of the coolest parts about Bangkok is that there is so much to see and there is always something going on. The city really never sleeps and no matter what your schedule is, there is plenty of stuff to enjoy while you are there.
One of our favorite things was the fresh fruit that was sold on the streets. The fruit and vegetables were so much more fresh than what we get here in the US. They were such a huge difference in taste. The pineapple was a lot more sweet, while here in the US, it is more sour than sweet. If you are ever in Thailand, one of the meals that you need to get is the pineapple fried rice. They basically take a fresh pineapple and carve it into a bowl and fill it with fried rice, your choice of meat and add pineapple chunks in it. The sweet and spicy flavors are amazing and compliment each other perfectly.
I am really getting the itch to travel again. It has been way too long since my wife and I went out on an adventure. We only have a few years left until we are able to travel full time and see all the cool things the world has to offer. Traveling and seeing the world is one of the greatest gifts that you can give yourself. What is your favorite place you have traveled to?

This is something I often tried explaining to locals in such countries their food tastes fresher and better.
I love the rustic colours here, like scenes from an asian classic movie. I think I would agree that fruits taste better over there, especially with the innovative dishes they make such as the pineapple fried rice you mentioned.
Seeing a few travel posts and also reminiscing on my own, I'm getting the itch to see the world again too. My favourite place would probably be Thailand as well, fitting because we have many friends from there posting on Liketu.
The food there was so good. Nothing here in the US can compare to how amazing the street food was there. I got one soup for lunch one day and it was like a dollar, but it had some of the best flavor. My wife got chicken and rice and they cut the chicken pieces right off a chicken that was hanging by the fire and it was so good.
I lost the power cord for one of my old hard drives that has more of my travel photos on it from different places, so hopefully I can find it soon and go through some of those photos as well. Sucks that I can't travel right now, but it is always fun to go through my old photos and reminisce.
That looks chaotic. But I wonder how chaotic pineapple fried rice is. We add pineapple in our plates during lunch in southern Brazil, especially with pork meat, but in rice??
It is amazing. I am actually on my way to a Brazilian BBQ place for dinner tonight. Nothing better than grilled pineapple and plenty of meat.

I've seen a bit of Bangkok in the movies, it looks busy always as you stated. I wonder how the market works, if people probably takes turns to sell or nobody sleeps LOL. In fighting movies, it usually depicts a busy city.
Travelling is good and it helps create memories. I love to travel alot and I love taking pictures so I don't forget the moments created.
I've been quite fortunate to visit most states in my country and some places in Africa because i play chess.
But i haven't really explored other countries well, because I end up staying in the hotel room all through. Now am older, I fancy exploring better on my next event. Then richer, I'd visit Europe 😅

Ya, Bangkok is a pretty busy city and there are always plenty of things going on.
But it is so hot there :) I love Thailand as well, especially Bangkok. I think people are the ones who make this city awesome. When we were traveling around SEA we found out that, Thais are the friendliest of them all. Is there anything we didn't like in Bangkok? Yes, pollution! This city is truly sinking in the fog and only visiting it is OK, but living there is a bigger challenge. I hope we will change that in near future.

I don't mind the heat much. It is way better than trying to stay warm. Plus there is the beach there in Thailand that is awesome too.
I agree that the people are one of the main reasons why Bangkok and Thailand in particular are amazing. I didn't mind the pollution there too much. The air sucks where I am and I have lived in large cities like Bangkok before, so I was used to it.

I don't get to travel much because of my job...but I am thinking of going to the UK in some time...I just have a few exams to pass and I'll be free to travel.

Thanks man. Ya, I did take all these pictures. Taking photos of my travels is one of my favorite things to do. I haven't been to England yet, but I am hoping to go there one day. It isn't too high on my travel list though. I want to travel around the different Asian countries first.
