¡Hola a mis queridos amigos amantes de las plantas!
Una de mis plantas favoritas es este jazmín, conocido también como "Jazmín de azahar", que me florece todo el año y perfuma siempre la casa. El de la foto está sembrado junto a las ventanas de los cuartos de mis hijos, por lo que su fragancia se filtra a las habitaciones.
Hay muchísimas plantas que son llamadas por el nombre común de jazmín, esto se debe al olor y color particular de sus flores, así que me puse a buscar el nombre específico de esta, para conocerla un poco más. Así fue como encontré que su nombre es "Murraya paniculata" y es de origen asiático, principalmente cultivado como planta ornamental, ya que su estructura es ideal para la construcción de setos y florece todo el año.
Esta es de las primeras plantas que sembramos al mudarnos a esta casa hace 20 años y les puedo decir que es resistente, no necesita muchos cuidados ni demasiado riego. Eso sí, si no les gustan las abejas o son alérgicos, no se los recomiendo porque sus flores atraen muchísimas abejas.
Un dato curioso es que buscando que planta era encontré una referencia que indicaba que esta planta posee propiedades medicinales y que es usada en la medicina tradicional asiática, pero los usos que yo le conozco son meramente ornamentales; la verdad no me atrevería a experimentar con ella.
Las flores de esta planta son muy delicadas y si cortas un racimo no duran como para usarlas en un arreglo floral; sin embargo, sus ramas y hojas son usadas como follaje en arreglos florales.
En cualquier caso, verla es todo un espectáculo y disfrutar de la fragancia de sus flores es maravilloso. Por ahora me despido, pero cuéntenme si ya la conocían.

There are many plants that are called by the common name of jasmine, this is due to the particular smell and color of its flowers, so I started looking for the specific name of this one, to get to know it a little more. This is how I found that its name is "Murraya paniculata" and it is of Asian origin, mainly cultivated as an ornamental plant, since its structure is ideal for the construction of hedges and it blooms all year round.
This is one of the first plants we planted when we moved into this house 20 years ago and I can tell you that it is resistant, it does not need much care or too much watering. Of course, if you don't like bees or are allergic, I don't recommend them because their flowers attract a lot of bees.
A curious fact is that searching for what plant it was I found a reference that indicated that this plant has medicinal properties and that it is used in traditional Asian medicine, but the uses that I know of are merely ornamental; The truth is I wouldn't dare experiment with it.
The flowers of this plant are very delicate and if you cut a bunch they do not last long enough to use them in a floral arrangement; However, its branches and leaves are used as foliage in floral arrangements.
In any case, seeing it is quite a spectacle and enjoying the fragrance of its flowers is wonderful. For now I say goodbye, but tell me if you already knew her.

Siii, es bellísima y florece casi todo el año
Son unas flores bastante bonitas aunque el olor es muy fuerte sobre todo cuando el árbol está tupido de ella me gusta es por la gran cantidad de fauna que atraen estas flores.
Es verdad que en ocasiones puede llegar a ser demasiado, sobre todo para personas muy sensibles a los olores o personas alérgicas.
