Ilonggos adore coffee, and Madge Café is one of the most well-known and historic cafés in Iloilo City. The Atria Branch of Ilo-ilo is where I had my first experience with it, despite the fact that its original branch is inside the La Paz Public Market. They also offer us other options from their menu, but their coffee is what I really enjoyed. I was able to purchase a nice cup of scalding hot coffee with milk for a very low cost. It is understandable why they won the Ilonggos' hearts and why so many people searched for it. When I went to Ilo-ilo, this was on my bucket list.
The freshly brewed coffee from Madge Cafe comes in light, regular, and strong variations. The cafe serves its own brew. A cup of their coffee is perfect to drink while digging into a plate of native goodies, toasted bread, or tasty treats also offered in the shop. Even non-coffee drinkers would be tempted to try their delicious coffee
For over the years, Madge Cafe remains very authentic and one of the most famous cafes in the city of love. I am thankful to my workmate who brought me to the Madge Cafe for the first time because I was able to taste the history of Ilo-ilo. I vowed to return here each time I visit Ilo-ilo.
