What I love most when it comes to street photography is using my iphone to take pictures. It's light and versatile. Can be used in any lighting condition. But of course, the quality of the pictures is higher when the lighting of the subject is brighter.
My strategy to still utilize my phone when it comes to low lighting conditions is to convert pictures into a black and white image. When in the BNW image, the noise and blurring in the image is acceptable; it seems to add an artistic quality to the photo. There are instances where a low quality picture looks better when converted to a black and white version.
When it comes to street photography, there are no restrictions when it comes to the type of subject that can be shot. As long as it's on the street, it can be a subject. The important thing is that you enjoy your photo walk.
These are the pictures I took tonight. These photos were taken around the Nicoll Highway area.
