Greetings dear friends, welcome to my blog. On this occasion I will give you a little summary of how my month of May was. The truth is that it did not have a good start because I received sad and unexpected news, two physical departures that I still find hard to believe and assimilate. At the beginning of the month a colleague and former college classmate wrote me to tell me that a very close friend we have in common lost her battle with cancer. On the 26th, another sad news came into my life by the heartfelt departure of a co-worker who was already retired and whose cause of death was a relapse with COVID-19. I was very surprised because I thought that this virus had already passed, however, with this news the alarms are turned on again so that we continue to take care of ourselves and maintain the biosecurity measures. Out of respect for my friends and their families, I will only share photographs of other events that I experienced in May.
I had the opportunity to participate in two events with the Hive Sucre community, something very positive and that filled me with great satisfaction. The first one was to celebrate the progress of crypto-adoption in our state with a lunch at Lisboa Pubb Bar. The second meeting was to celebrate the first #bitcoinpizzaday in Venezuela, a historic event that marked a before and after in the world of cryptocurrencies. That day Monday 22, we celebrated among hivers the #hbdpizzaday at Yakuza Sushi Restaurant, with a vibrant atmosphere, lots of joy, surprises and delicious pizzas. It was a pleasant evening with exciting reunions and interaction with people we are getting to know beyond the virtual world of our beloved Hive Blockchain.
I also had the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of this wonderful ecosystem for the cryptocurrency project through the usability of HBD in a direct way to purchase goods and services. I bought a selfie stick for the creation of content in Hive, as well as the purchase of food and delicious desserts. On the other hand, I dabbled in beverage preparation, stepping out of my comfort zone and taking on new challenges. I was happy to see the presentation post of my friend @trimer2023, who joined this great family called Hive and to whom I wish a lot of success in this path that has just begun for her. Another good news, twice I received the weekly author badge, that made me very happy, especially because I don't have internet service. I love Hive, so I do my best to stay active.
May was a month with ups and downs, with some personal breakups, the pieces cannot be glued back together, but the important thing is to recognize, accept, get up and go on. Despite the adversities, we found positive messages, life lessons and many lessons learned. Likewise, it was full of surprises, new friendships and for that I am grateful every day for each dawn to continue living, enjoying and learning, as well as helping those people who need a helping hand.

Saludos estimados amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog. En esta ocasión les haré un pequeño resumen sobre cómo fue mi mes mayo. La verdad es que no tuvo un buen comienzo porque recibí noticias tristes e inesperadas, dos partidas físicas que aún me cuesta creer y asimilar. A principios de mes me escribió un colega y ex compañero de la universidad para decirme que una amiga muy cercana que tenemos en común perdió la batalla contra el cáncer. El día 26, otra triste noticia llegó a mi vida por la sentida partida de un compañero de trabajo que ya estaba jubilado y cuya causa de muerte fue una recaída con el COVID-19. Me sorprendió mucho porque pensaba que ya este virus había pasado, sin embargo, con esta noticia las alarmas se encienden nuevamente para que nos sigamos cuidando y mantengamos las medidas de bioseguridad. Por respeto a mis amigos y sus familiares, solo compartiré fotografías de otros acontecimientos que viví en el mes de mayo.
Tuve la oportunidad de participar en dos eventos junto a la comunidad de Hive Sucre, algo muy positivo y que me llenó de mucha satisfacción. El primero fue para celebrar los avances de la criptoadopción en nuestro estado con un almuerzo en Lisboa Pubb Bar. El segundo encuentro fue para celebrar el primer #bitcoinpizzaday en Venezuela, un hecho histórico que marcó un antes y un después en el mundo de las criptomonedas. Ese día lunes 22, festejamos entre hivers el #hbdpizzaday en Yakuza Sushi Restaurant, con un ambiente vibrante, mucha alegría, sorpresas y deliciosas pizzas. Fue una agradable velada con emocionantes reencuentros y la interacción con personas que vamos conociendo más allá del mundo virtual de nuestra querida Blockchain de Hive.
También tuve la oportunidad de disfrutar de las bondades de este maravilloso ecosistema en pro del proyecto de la criptoadocpión a través de la usabilidad del HBD de manera directa para adquirir bienes y servicios. Compré un palo de selfie para la creación de contenido en Hive, así como la compra de alimentos y deliciosos postres. Por otra parte, incursioné en la preparación de bebidas, saliendo de mi zona de confort y asumiendo nuevos retos. Me alegró ver la publicación de presentación de mi amiga @trimer2023, quien ingresó a esta gran familia llamada Hive y a quien le deseo muchos éxitos en este sendero que apenas recién comienza para ella. Otra buena noticia, en dos oportunidades recibí la insignia de autor semanal, eso me alegró mucho, sobre todo porque no poseo el servicio de internet. Me encanta Hive, así que hago lo posible por mantenerme activa.
Mayo fue un mes con altas y bajas, con algunos quiebres a nivel personal, los pedazos no se pueden volver a pegar, pero lo importante es reconocer, aceptar, levantarse y seguir. A pesar de las adversidades, encontramos mensajes positivos, lecciones de vida y muchos aprendizajes. Asimismo, estuvo cargado de sorpresas, nuevas amistades y por eso agradezco día a día por cada amanecer para seguir viviendo, disfrutando y aprendiendo, además de ayudar a aquellas personas que necesiten una mano amiga.
