Earlier, my friend and I talked about our upcoming graduation and our manifestations for the next few months. We reminisced all the struggles we faced as occupational therapy students up until we transitioned into interns handling real patients. It was truly a rollercoaster ride. Likewise, we also talked about who will do our makeup for our graduation picture. I then remembered the makeup artist who did my makeup on my 18th debut celebration, Raisa Bercede. She is a Cebu-Based professional makeup artist who has handled clients like local content creators and even candidates for beauty pageants. After remembering her artistry, I decided to look up and search some photos of the look that she did about 5 years ago and voila, sharing her amazing work. I definitely felt like a Disney princess on that night. To all my friends here in Cebu, I would definitely recommend Miss Raisa Bercede, she is definitely a talented makeup artist.
I also wanted to share these photos because as I look at it, I suddenly miss being eighteen since those were my carefree days. I did not worry about the future nor my career, I was simply living the moment. Now that I am twenty-two, I am constantly anxious about what's in store for me in the future. But whenever I see photos of my younger self, I become hopeful. Indeed, better days are coming.
