In our tour of the historical places of the city of Cumaná, we went to the second stop of the Tour visiting the Birthplace of the poet Ramos Sucre, which is also located in the historic center of the city on Sucre Street; our **Imatur** tour guides gave a talk to the children about the biography of this illustrious character from Cumana, and we could also enjoy an exhibition that was being installed that morning of Bonsais by the exhibitor Tomas Toledo, who allowed us to photograph the splendour of each of these bonsais, which are a symbol of eternity, these trees represent a bridge between the divine and the human, heaven and earth; he told us that his exhibition would be open to the public from that same day in the afternoon, that the entrance would have a cost of 50 bs. The entrance fee would be 50 bs. equivalent to 1.5 $ and that a sample of this wonderful art would be given as a gift.
The children were happy to have visited the poet's house and also to have seen these beautiful bonsais, as were all of us who were there, in the next installment I will be telling you about another place full of history that we visited in this exciting tour of my city.
En nuestro recorrido por los lugares históricos de la ciudad de Cumaná, nos dirigimos a la segunda parada del Tour visitando la Casa Natal del poeta Ramos Sucre, la cual se encuentra ubicada también en el centro histórico de la ciudad en la calle Sucre; nuestros guías turísticos de Imatur dieron una charla a los niños sobre la biografía de este ilustre personaje cumanés, y además pudimos disfrutar de una exposición que se estaba instalando esa mañana de Bonsáis del expositor Tomás Toledo, quien nos permitió fotografiar el esplendor de cada uno de estos bonsáis, que son símbolo de eternidad, estos árboles representan un puente entre lo divino y lo humano, el cielo y la tierra; nos comentó que su exposición estaría abierta al público a partir de ese mismo día en la tarde, que la entrada tendría un costo de 50 bs. equivalente a 1.5 $ y que se obsequiaba una muestra de este maravilloso arte.
Los niños felices de haber visitado la casa del poeta y además haber contemplado estos bellísimos bonsáis, al igual que todos los que estábamos ahí, en la próxima entrega le estaré hablando de otro lugar lleno de historia que visitamos en este emocionante tour por mi ciudad.
