Por eso, hoy quiero mostrarles fotos de nuestra fiesta del 31 de diciembre de 2023 para dar la bienvenida al año 2024.
Fue una noche especial; todos nos arreglamos mucho, como es costumbre. Yo llevé un vestido rojo que compré algunos meses antes de esta fecha, pero que aún no había usado, por lo que quedó perfecto para la ocasión. Me sentí increíblemente hermosa con mi maquillaje, donde me atreví a agregar volumen a mis pestañas 🤭, y con mis zarcillos y una preciosa gargantilla. Me encantó tanto este conjunto que definitivamente lo repetiré pronto. ☺️
Normalmente, en estas fechas siempre hay mucho ajetreo, así que ayudé en todo lo que pude para que todo saliera a pedir de boca. Colocamos la mesa para la cena justo en la entrada de la casa, ya que éramos 12 personas, contando la familia de mi hermano, algunos familiares de su esposa y mi propia familia.
En nuestra mesa no faltaron las hallacas, el pan de jamón, la ensalada y el jamón ahumado que tanto amo. Mi madre se encargó de preparar un delicioso pernil. Pronto llegó el momento de sentarnos a comer y brindar, dando gracias por la salud, la unión, el amor y el bienestar de todos.
Tampoco faltaron las uvas, las lentejas y las caraotas, símbolos culturales de deseos y prosperidad. Son viejas costumbres que seguimos manteniendo con cariño. ☺️
Terminando nuestra cena increíblemente abundante y deliciosa, dimos por concluido el 2023 y nos abrazamos celebrando la llegada del 1 de enero de 2024. 🥰
El resto de la noche consistió en compartir en familia, hacer chistes y escuchar música.

Memories of my New Year’s Eve Party ✨
Hello, welcome to my blog! In previous posts, I shared that I traveled from Caracas to San Cristóbal to visit my brother and celebrate the New Year together as a family. I also mentioned a bit about the electricity situation in the state of Táchira, which made it challenging to post in real time.
Today, I want to show you photos from our December 31, 2023, New Year's Eve party to welcome 2024. It was a special night; we all dressed up nicely, as is our tradition. I wore a red dress that I had purchased a few months before this date but hadn't worn yet, so it was perfect for the occasion. I felt incredibly beautiful with my makeup, where I dared to add volume to my lashes 🤭, and with my lovely earrings and necklace. I loved this outfit so much that I'll definitely wear it again soon. ☺️
During these dates, there's always a lot of hustle and bustle, so I helped out as much as I could to ensure everything went smoothly. We set up the dinner table right at the entrance of the house since we were 12 people, including my brother's family, some of his wife's relatives, and my own family.
Our table was filled with hallacas, pan de jamón (ham bread), salad, smoked ham (which I absolutely adore), and the delicious pernil (pork leg) prepared by my mother. Soon, it was time to sit down, enjoy our meal, and raise a toast, giving thanks for health, unity, love, and everyone's well-being.
We also had the traditional grapes, lentils, and black beans as cultural symbols of wishes and prosperity. These old customs are ones we continue to cherish. ☺️
As we finished our incredibly abundant and delicious dinner, we bid farewell to 2023 and welcomed January 1, 2024, with hugs and celebrations. 🥰
The rest of the night consisted of sharing with family, making jokes, and listening to music.
