One of the most powerful practices I have discovered lately is gratitude, but not superficial gratitude; I am talking about a deeper and integral gratitude that connects with every part of my life. I have learned this through the lessons that life itself is giving and a book I am reading, which has helped me cultivate this beautiful practice.
From the first day, I started to be truly grateful; I noticed small changes; now, I start and end each day with a moment of gratitude, a habit that some people do automatically, but for me, it has been a conscious decision. Before, I was only thankful for a new sunrise, but now I go beyond that: I am thankful for every small step and challenge and even thank myself several times a day, 😊. This practice has become one of the best decisions I've made personally.
Recently, during a family trip, I drove three hours on complicated roads due to their poor condition. Instead of focusing on the discomfort, I thanked myself for facing the challenge and for allowing myself to take care of myself, dedicate time to myself, and value what I have, from my knowledge to the relationships that surround me, be they family, friendships, or work.
This gratitude exercise warms and comforts me, reminding me of all that I have accomplished, am, and can continue to be ✨. It is a constant push to continue being authentic, valuing every step and, above all, every instant of this life. Although, indeed, this is something very personal, I wanted to share it in case I manage to inspire someone else..
Thank you for reading.

I've learned that it's often those little moments strung together that allow us to fully breathe in the happiness of life.
I'll never forget the time when it seemed I was having a bad day minute-by-minute. I was entering a Target store when a mother carrying her young son passed me on the way out.
He looked at me with the biggest and moist innocent smile and waved at me. It was a small moment in my day, but the joy that he shared caused all of my troubles to melt away in an instant.
That was a few years ago but I still remember it. So whenever I'm going through difficulties, I take a minute to relive that moment and allow the stress to recede. There's joy in life, we just have to be open to it, and sometimes we can see it through the smile of a child. :)
