This past Sunday was awesome. I woke up early for church, but I was running late. Despite arriving before the service started, I was late for the call time for musicians, which is when we set up our instruments and soundcheck before the main meeting.
It was a Thanksgiving Sunday, and the sermon focused on gratitude. It was powerful and talked about being thankful for what you have and don't have, as gratitude is better than being depressed and worried about things outside of our control.
The photos in the attached images are from church, where I took some pictures with friends. The first picture is of the Music Director, who is a talented keyboardist who can play in all keys without transposing. I spent more time with him this Sunday than on previous Sundays.
Although I don't typically take photos on Sundays, I made an exception this time. I wanted to capture the fun and take some pictures, especially with the beautiful white guitar. The guitar belongs to @olujay, and I am lucky to have my own guitar, but I hope to afford a white one in the future.
Later in the day, I spent time with @olujay @drama.queen and @creativepearl playing a game of letters (whose name I have forgotten) where you find words for categories like animals, places, and food. I wasn't very good at the game and had the lowest score.
