I'm just trying out this new @liketu dapp. I am not really into just posting photos, but I know that is a big thing across the greater web. Hive should have a slice of that action. There will be debates about what a post is worth, but it is up to the community. The issue will be all the automated votes that do not take account of the type of post. There have been attempts at image-centred posting before, but we shall see how it goes.

This is Pixie and her kitten Tromie who like to be together. The other kittens have gone to new homes, but these two are staying with us.

Pixie has seem some other cats through the window and she does tend to voice her displeasure at their presence. We have not been letting her out yet, but we will eventually. I hope there is no fighting, but generally we find the cats make a lot of noise and puff up without actually coming to blows. Tromie will not be going out for now. She struggles to get around, but is getting more active.

For the best experience view this post on Liketu

The one question rises..
Is there an option to just have in in your posts versus in your blogs...for not spamming the world with snaps...so this is finally Appics but then different right

Posts all seem to go to their community, so are not on your front page. Some of them do not show images in peakd. They ought to make them look right in all dapps.

The @liketu interface is rather pleasant. I'm now keen to download the mobile app to see what that experience is like. Of course, this means I have another new tool to play around with...oooo shiny!

I know new system and new things to get use to. One issue is the image preview, on peakd you can zoom in, the only way I found to get a larger view was to right click open in new window.. Still I do plan on exploring the system.

Edit: I just found you can double click the image opens larger, now to find the comment edit button over there.

I'm still figuring it out too. Where's Clippy when you need him?

It is beta, and I guess we just have to let them know some of the things we can not see, like how to edit comments. I did leave some feed back, and I may get around to trying a post on their site like you did.

Not had any children myself, but when my cat gave birth to kittens, I felt a sense of fatherhood joy. It was certainly wonderful seeing the whole process. Very pretty kitties!

We've had them since a few days old, so we have seen them grow up. It's been fun and challenging.

Such a cuteness explosion :D

You should have seen when I had four of them jumping on me in the morning :)

Extremely cute and will be interesting to see how LikeTu grows over time. I’ve moved away from single photo posts ironically but there may be the occasional LikeTu from me.

Mobile app did i hear?

I get that there is demand for minimal posts and Hive can have a slice of that. I like that DBuzz sets a low limit on post rewards by default. A lot of us get automatic votes and don't want to abuse that. My issue with things like Liketu is that they hide most of the content out there. I use peakd and ecency that show everything from those I follow.

!BEER

Yes that concerns me and perhaps may turn out to be a drawback?

I found some new people here who are using Liketu. I tried to make them aware that they are missing a lot. They can still use the app to post if it works for them.

That's a good idea, they are probably unaware. Spotted your comment on DBuzz offering a reward limit field, that's really good.

So cute 🥰

Very cool cats @steevc

Ah, that was the one time I tried Liketu. I tend to stick with the front ends I am used to.
