After a busy morning I opted out on some chores and decided to go for a short run. While it waa heavily raining today - I only had a few minutes of rain - but still had to make sure I watched where I was running and I didn’t get too wet

I focussed on relatively low heart beat and ignored the pace so I could just enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

This week was quite an oke week in that sense that the recovery from last chemo started picking up from Wednesday, allowing my wife to be included (to an extent) in celebrating our daughter’s 12th bday. Basicly she can now be around for an hour after which she needs a few hours of bed resting - but it just means a lot for all of us that we can celebrate the bday.
Looking ahead to next week, we will have quite some stressfull hospital visits including the CT-scan that will determine if we can go for surgery or that we will have to make adjustments in our hopes to recover from this nightmare… but until we are there, we try to remain hopeful 🙏
After the CT - scan we will have to wait another 1,5 week before we get the results. I will try to run quite a bit to get some healthy distraction.
Thank you for the kind words! 100% means a lot to be able to celebrate it together even for just a hour ❤️
So much waiting time!
Hope the bday went great and ahead enjoyed it.
Now you almost have a teenage daughter! I am not looking forward to my turn 🤣
I keep being hopeful with you guys! Stay strong 💪🏼🫶🏼
