Hola amigos, si han leído alguna vez mi blog saben que desde hace años comencé una relación con un chico maravilloso de nacionalidad alemana, realmente nunca pensé que yo me embarcaría en esta aventura, pero sucedió y aunque no ha sido fácil para ambos hemos enfrentado los desafíos que implica una relación a distancia.
Hello friends, if you have ever read my blog you know that for years I started a relationship with a wonderful boy of German nationality, I never really thought that I would embark on this adventure, but it happened and although it has not been easy for both of us we have faced the challenges of a long distance relationship.
Mi novio y yo nos conocimos en las redes sociales, a los dos nos gustan los juegos en línea y otra cosa en común que teníamos era que él quería practicar el español, idioma que estaba aprendiendo. Yo deseaba también practicar mi inglés y así comenzamos a conversar por muchas horas. Al principio solo fue una amistad, pero con el tiempo nos dimos cuenta que teníamos muchas cosas en común y poco a poco nos fuimos enamorando.
My boyfriend and I met on social media, we both like online games and another thing in common we had was that he wanted to practice Spanish, the language he was learning. I also wanted to practice my English and so we began to talk for many hours. At first it was just a friendship, but over time we realized that we had many things in common and little by little we fell in love.
La relación ha sido todo un desafío, teníamos previsto conocernos este año, pero la pandemia nos lo ha hecho imposible. Eso me hizo sentir muy triste, tenía ganas de verlo y abrazarlo, comprobar que nuestra relación es más que solo palabras en internet.
The relationship has been a challenge, we had planned to meet this year, but the pandemic has made it impossible for us. That made me feel very sad, I wanted to see him and hug him, see that our relationship is more than just words on the internet.
Si puedo darles algunos consejos para tener una relación a distancia serían:
Confianza, esto es primordial ya que debemos confiar en la otra persona ciegamente, los celos pueden acabar una relación si te la pasas pensando que tu pareja te puede ser infiel.
Hacer cosas en común, nos gusta jugar video juegos juntos y ver películas online, nos divertimos mucho.
Comunicación, nos contamos todo lo que nos pasa y nos apoyamos mutuamente.
Sorpresas, a veces recibo pequeños detalles por correo de mi novio y eso me llena de felicidad. Yo por mi parte también trato de hacerlo sentir que es importante para mí.
Las relaciones a distancia son difíciles, pero en mi opinión sí se puede y yo espero reunirme pronto con mi novio.
If I can give you some tips to have a long distance relationship they would be:
Trust, this is essential since we must trust the other person blindly, jealousy can end a relationship if you spend it thinking that your partner may be unfaithful.
Do things together, we like to play video games together and watch movies online, we have a lot of fun.
Communication, we tell each other everything that happens to us and we support each other.
Surprises, sometimes I receive small details in the mail from my boyfriend and that fills me with happiness. For my part, I also try to make him feel that he is important to me.
Long distance relationships are difficult, but in my opinion it can be done and I hope to meet my boyfriend soon.
