I think I have made several loose comments in some posts about how privileged I feel to live in an area surrounded by museums of great importance for the entire country, and of course the National Art Gallery is in a prominent place since it is right in in front of our house.
For this reason, it is very common for us to go through there, not only to visit some new rooms and exhibitions, since sometimes we cross that long and fabulous corridor just to shorten distances to avoid the strong afternoon sun between Mexico Avenue and Bolivar Avenue. .
So when I am with my two little girls we always incorporate it into our tour because they really enjoy running through that wide corridor where large and curious sculptures by important artists pose before the restless eyes of my two little girls who know how to appreciate art in a very genuine way. Like only a child knows how to do.
This time, although we wanted to go in to browse, unfortunately we couldn't because they closed the rooms too early for our liking, around 4 in the afternoon, so we just crossed the corridor and continued our journey towards Los Caobos Park, which was abruptly interrupted. by a strong and surprising rain that lasted at least long enough to get us a little wet and have to return home earlier than expected...

@astrolabio nice way to have educational tour for the kiddos. You are lucky to have such places nearby, get the most of it. Cheers!!!
I think so, I try to make the most of it, and with my little girls now more, replicating what my mother did with me in these same places. Best regards!!
