Hello everyone, how are you all doing, it must be fine. Do you enjoy coffee, how many times a day do you drink coffee? Two days ago I was in a coffee garden and took some pictures. When I was in the coffee garden I remembered the old song, the song Moliendo Cafe.
Coffee is a brewed coffee brew that has been roasted and ground into powder. Coffee is a commodity in the world that is cultivated in more than 50 countries.
"Actually, coffee is getting rather difficult to grow here because this place is not too cold anymore," said the owner of the garden.
Then he explained that since the forest was cleared and planted with oil palm, there have been a change in the temperature of the air, so the place was no longer suitable for growing coffee.
The taste of coffee is generally determined by many things, starting from the type or variety, the location of the planting, the surrounding environment, and the processing of the seeds. That is why, although the same type, the taste of Gayo coffee with Toraja for example, has a different aroma and flavor.
Coffee itself has various types, namely Arabica, Robusta, Liberica to Excelsa. Of these varieties, Arabica and Robusta are the largest varieties in Indonesia and are used in most coffee shops or coffee shops.
Arabica coffee only grows well when planted in the highlands, between 1,000 meters and 2,000 meters above sea level. The temperature at the planting location should also range between 14-24 degrees Celsius.
This type of coffee plant requires better care because it is more susceptible to leaf rust, especially when planted in the lowlands. In addition, the number of coffee beans in each harvest is also not as much as Robusta coffee.
Most Arabica coffees have a fragrance like fruits or flowers. Some accompanied by the aroma of nuts. It tastes even smoother and fuller. No wonder the price is also far more expensive than other types of coffee.
The types of Arabica coffee that are popular in Indonesia are Gayo, Toraja, Wamena coffee, some Balinese and Flores coffees, and nowadays many Arabica coffees are emerging from the highlands of Java, such as in West Java and Banyuwangi in the Raung Mountain area .
So the garden actually belongs to him is not a coffee garden, but there are many coffee trees in it. I talked for almost thirty minutes with the owner of the garden, then I asked permission to take pictures and he allowed it.
