in GEMS3 years ago

Hey guyz,

Um back people with another blog post in HIVE.

This time I'm going to showcase one of my battle using Naga Brute in splinterlands weekly battle challenge.

I just started playing so I don't know a lot of things about this game but still, I will try to show something good for this challenge.

Naga Brute is a common dragon monster that's of dice edition.
This monster doesn't have any attack for which this monster is can be mainly used as an extra armor/shield in a battle although despite having attack abilities, it still get to attack it's attacker with it's special abilities.

About the challenge:

You can find the official challenge post here.

For this challenge, you'll need to showcase a battle using the theme card and you should talk about the monsters that you use in the battle, about the battle.

The entry post should be shared on any social media and I'll use my twitter handle for that.

There should be a #splinterlands tag.
Then you should leave your post link and your social media link where you shared it as a comment in the official challenge post of @splinterlands.

Battling procedure with Naga Brute:
As you'll need to battle with Naga Brute so you'll have to play the battle using dragon splinter.

From the battle page, you need to click on the ranked battle button and you should wait for a little time.

This takes a little time to find a worthy opponent.
It might take a little longer sometimes and sometimes as it seems.

Then you'll see that you have an enemy waiting for you on the other side.

You can see everything about the battle here such as-
Rules of the battle, mana cap of the battle, splinters that can be used in the battle, the countdown time and you can check on your opponent too from here.

Click on the Make Team button.
Then you'll find a page with all your splinters that can be used in the battle.

As I had to play this battle with water splinter to showcase the battle of Naga Brute as that's a dragon monster, I chose Drake of Arnak which is my dragon splinters summoner.

Then I chose the cards that I wanted in this battle.

There I chose Shieldbearer, Luminous Eagle, Naga Brute, War Chaang, Cave Slug, Mantoid.

Buying procedure of Naga Brute card(s):

  • First, you need to go to the market and then you'll need to find the card or you can go directly from this link.
  • Then you'll need to find the best suitable cards for you.
You can buy high-level cards or you can buy level 1 single cards and then you can combine them and you can upgrade the level.

My lineup for this battle:

The mana cap for this battle was 99 and yet the opponent monster team had only 3 monsters against friendly monster team while friendly monster team had all six monsters of high mana.

Shieldbearer:

Shieldbearer is a rare life monster that I've in level 1.

I used Shieldbearer at the front position as it's a melee attacker with big powers such as 2 melee attack, 2 speed, 4 shields, 9 Health in level 1.
It's an 8 mana monster.

Luminous Eagle:

Luminous Eagle is a rare life monster that I've in level 1.

I used Shieldbearer at the second position as it's a melee attacker with reach ability and it has nice powers such as 2 melee attack, 3 speed, 5 Health in level 1.
It's an 6 mana monster.

Naga Brute:

Naga Brute is a common dragon monster that I've in level 1.

I used Naga Brute at that position as it doesn't provide any attack so I wanted it to take the hit right after melee attacker dies and it has 1 speed, 7 armor and 4 health in level 1.
It's an 6 mana monster.

War Chaang:

War Chaang is an epic neutral monster that I've in level 1.

I used War Chaang at the second position cause I wanted it to take the first position if first positioned monster dies and as it has big powers such as 1 ranged attack, 2 melee attack, 3 speed, 8 Health in level 1.
It's an 7 mana monster.

Cave Slug:

Cave Slug is a common life monster that I've in level 1.

I used Cave Slug in that position as it's a melee attacker with opportunity ability and it as nice powers such as 2 melee attack, 1 speed, 4 Health in level 1.
It's an 5 mana monster.

Mantoid:

Mantoid is a common neutral monster that I've in level 1.

I used Mantoid in that position as it's a ranged attacker with snipe ability and it as nice powers such as 2 ranged attack, 2 speed, 5 Health in level 1.
It's an 6 mana monster.

In the battlefield:

Link to the battle.

War Chaang of the friendly monster team attacked for the first time in round 1.

Then Cerberus of the enemy monster team and then Luminous Eagle of the friendly monster team attacked and other monsters of both teams took part in attacking from their own position.

image.png

Two monsters from the enemy monster team died in between round 2 and then the enemy monster team had only one monster left with low health while friendly monsters still had all the monsters left and the theme card of the friendly monster team didn't have to do anything to prevent the attack from those low powered enemy monsters.

image.png

The battle ended in round 3 where friendly monster team still had all the monsters with nice health without losing any monster.

War Chaang of the friendly monster team killed the last monster and there came victory.

Well, you're lucky to have an easy opponent... I mean an opponent with weak monsters.
Although your lineup was pretty good with the mana cap and I'm confused about why your opponent did such a lineup in a high mana cap battle.
BTW... nice post.
Keep on battling.
