Everyone has different tastes and preferences and that's fine. Can you imagine how boring the world would be if we were all the same?
In every relationship, whether it's love, family or friendship, it's the same. Each one will have preference in something and the other one won't necessarily share the same, but it's up to us to accept and respect each one of them.
My boyfriend loves coconut ice cream and if it's on a sunny, sandy day it would be perfect. His favorite food is Sushi, his love for cats is infinite and he chose thousands of codes and numbers as his profession through computers.
On the other hand, I'm not a big fan of the beach, I prefer a quiet day in a cool, mountainous place. My favorite food is pizza and for dessert or any time of day a chocolate is perfect. Since I was a little girl I had no preference for kittens, I had always had puppies, but my boyfriend has already passed on that love to me and we have two cute cat girls, without ruling out having our doggy son in the future. Another big difference is our profession, mine is based on textual codes, books and more books through the Law.
The important thing is that being so different we complement each other, we are a team.
Just because we don't like the same things doesn't mean we can't live together and get along. None of our preferences make us better or worse, only human.
Every person should understand this, we don't all prefer the same thing, in whatever field they want to see it, and that's okay. That's fine.
There is only one thing where we are all equal: WE ALL HAVE THE SAME RIGHTS.

Cada persona tiene gustos y preferencias distintas y eso esta bien. ¿Se imaginan lo aburrido que sería el mundo si todos fuéramos iguales?
En cada relación ya sea amorosa, familiar, de amistad, pasa igual, cada uno tendrá preferencia en algo y no necesariamente el otro compartirá lo mismo, pero esta en nosotros aceptar y respetar cada una de ellas.
A mi novio le encanta el helado de coco y si es en un día de sol y arena sería perfecto. Su comida favorita es el Sushi, su amor por los felinos es infinito y escogió como profesión miles de códigos y números mediante la informática.
Por otra parte, yo no soy muy fanática de la playa, prefiero un día tranquilo en un lugar fresco, montañoso. Mi comida favorita es la pizza y como postre o en cualquier momento del día un chocolate es perfecto. Desde pequeña no había tenido preferencia por los gatitos, siempre había tenido perritos, pero mi novio ya me ha contagiado ese amor y tenemos dos lindas hijas gatunas, sin descartar en un futuro tener a nuestro hijo perruno. Otra gran diferencia es nuestra profesión, lo mio se basa en códigos textuales, libros y más libros a través del Derecho.
Lo importante es que siendo tan distintos nos complementamos el uno al otro, somos un equipo.
El que no nos guste las mismas cosas no quiere decir que no podamos convivir y llevarnos bien. Ninguna de nuestras preferencias nos hace mejores o peores, solo humanos.
Cada persona debería entender esto, no todos preferimos lo mismo, en cualquier ámbito que lo quieran ver, y no pasa nada. Eso esta bien.
Solo hay una cosa donde todos somos iguales: TODOS TENEMOS LOS MISMOS DERECHOS.
