What's up, Hivers. In 1990 was the year where one of the bands was born that until now has been one of those that have had a solid audience power not only for their music but also for their irreverent way of performing on stage, this band is “Rage Against the Machine ”, a band hated by some and loved by thousands, due to their ideology and how they have addressed the socio-political issue in their lyrics. This band has been made up of Tom Morello and Zack de la Rocha since its inception. Along with Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk. This band was active from 1990 to 2000, it is here that they took time, diluting the band due to personal commitments of several of them,

it is in the following year that “Audioslave” was born and then dissolved in 2007, returning to the stage and since then they have been active. In the first five years, it was difficult for them to mesh as a band, but now they have really created a strong friendship that they have stayed together creating more musical themes and giving concerts at the most prestigious festivals worldwide. This band has one of my favorite bassists, not only for his sound, but for his technique and charisma; "Tim Commerford" is the creator of many of the songs and has also created a bass riff that is so far one of the best of all time.

En 1990 fue el año donde nació una de las bandas que hasta ahora ha sido de las que han tenido un sólido poder de audiencia no solo por su música sino también por su manera irreverente de presentarse en los escenarios, esta banda es “Rage Against the Machine”, una banda odiada por algunos y amada por miles, debido a su ideología y como han abordado en sus letras el tema socio político. Esta banda está desde sus inicios conformada por Tom Morello y Zack de la Rocha. Junto con Tim Commerford y Brad Wilk. Esta banda estuvo activa desde el año 1990 hasta el año 2000, es aquí donde se tomaron un tiempo, diluyendo la banda por compromisos personales de varios de ellos, es en el año siguiente donde nace “Audioslave” para luego disolverse en el año 2007, regresando a los escenarios y desde entonces se han mantenido activos. En los primeros cinco años, fue para ellos difícil engranar como banda, pero ahora realmente han creado una fuerte amistad que se han mantenido juntos creando más temas musicales y dando conciertos en los más prestigiosos festivales a nivel mundial. Esta banda tiene a uno de mis bajistas preferidos, no solo por su sonido, sino, por su técnica y carisma; “Tim Commerford” es el creador de muchos de los temas y además ha creado riff de bajo que es hasta ahora de los mejores de todos los tiempos.

"Killing In The Name" is a song that has a strong message that together with how powerful the instrumental part is, has become an anthem for those who are against oppressive systems, creating great controversy for its position on policies. An example of this was when Tim set fire to the inverted American flag in Woodstock, during this song, an act that was praised by much of the public, but booed by thousands of Americans who were informed of this.

“Killing In The Name” es un tema que tiene un fuerte mensaje que unido a lo poderoso que es la parte instrumental, se ha convertido en un himno para quienes están en contra de sistemas opresores, creando grandes polémicas por su posición respecto a las políticas de estados unidos, Un ejemplo de esto fue cuando Tim prendió fuego a la bandera estadounidense invertida en Woodstock, durante esta canción, acto que fue alabado por gran parte del público, pero abucheado por miles de estadounidenses que se informaron de esto.

Hola mavis =), si, son detalles que algunos desconocen y siempre es bueno saber, chris cornell viene de "soundGarden" y fue el vocalista de "Audioslave" donde a su vez el baterista de " SoundGarden" es el baterista de "Pearl Jam" que seguramente conoces y es probable que sea tu favorito ya que es una banda genial; y pues antes de "Audioslave" el resto formaban parte de "Rage Against the Machine". Existen muchas curiosidades en el mundo rock. poco a poco las iré comentando en futuros post. Si aún no la has escuchado, busca "black hole sun" de "soundgarden" es probable que dentro de poco la presente en un post. Gracias por la visita!!!
