Artis Leon Ivey Jr. (Coolio) is an American rapper known for performing the version of the surprising song "Steve wonder" (Gangsta's Paradise), for the movie Dangerous Minds. In this post I would like to show the bass riff that was created for this version, which is part of popular culture, this song was once one of the most popular on American radio and later it was broadcast worldwide by its dark and mysterious sound.

The use of the bass to play this theme also gives it a magnificent color despite the fact that a synthesizer was used for the theme of the bass or in this case the bass, but even so, played with the bass it maintains its essence. The equalization for this theme comes with keeping the mids and highs at minimum levels with low frequencies predominating, in addition strong compression was used to give it more darkness.

En este post me gustaría mostrar el riff de bajo que fue creado para esta versión, el cual forma parte de la cultura popular, este tema fue en su tiempo uno de los más sonados en las radios norteamericanas y posteriormente se difundió por todo el mundo por su sonido oscuro y misterioso. El uso del bajo para tocar este tema también le da un color magnifico a pesar de que para este tema fue usado un sintetizador para el sonido de los graves o en este caso el bajo, pero aun así, tocado con el bajo mantiene su esencia. La ecualización para este tema viene con mantener los medios y altos en niveles mínimos predominando las frecuencias bajas, además se utilizó una fuerte compresión para darle mayor oscuridad.

“Gangsta's Paradise” es el tema elegido para el día de hoy por su calidad además de ser un tema sumamente conocido y que más que, crear una buena performance y puesta en escena para mantener el estilo de la música también representado en el video. Espero les agrade.
