Hello, Hivers. The "Red Hot Chili Peppers" have a long history full of hits, specifically we will talk about their album "Californication" an album released in 1999, which made a leap to both a contemporary adult audience and the youngest, in this production you will find one of the most emblematic themes of the RHCP, which is “Otherside”, a theme that has to do with those internal battles that some have, with drugs and the consumption of illicit substances. This theme is focused on the individual struggle of addicts, with their internal demons.

Another attraction of this theme is its music video which has a high German impressionism in a black and white monochrome gothic style similar to Robert Wiene's “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari”, It was made with a combination of miniatures, giant sets , puppets, forced perspective and green screens as described by the directors. The bass riff created for this track has a precision blend of power, in my case using a predominantly middle EQ and a very presence chorus.

Los “Red Hot Chili Peppers” tiene una larga trayectoria llena de hits, en específico hablaremos de su albúm “Californication” un álbum lanzado en 1999, que dio un salto a un público tanto adulto contemporáneo como los más jóvenes, en esta producción se encuentra uno de los temas más emblemáticos de los RHCP, que es “Otherside” un tema que tiene que ver con esas batallas internas que tienen algunos, con las drogas y consumo de sustancias ilícitas. Este tema está enfocado con la lucha individual de adictos, con sus demonios internos. Otro de los atractivos que tiene este tema es su video musical el cual tiene un alto impresionismo alemán en un blanco y negro monocromo estilo gótico similar a “El gabinete del doctor Caligari” de Robert Wiene, Fue hecho con una combinación de miniaturas, sets gigantes, marionetas, perspectiva forzada y pantallas verdes tal como describieron los directores. El riff de bajo creado para este tema tiene una mezcla de potencia con precisión, en mi caso usando una ecualización predominante en medios y un chorus con mucha presencia.
