Kombucha is oddly similar to drinking a craft beer

Pint for pint 😋

Imagine mixing your favorite juice with your favorite beer, minus the high % of alcohol. That’s pretty much kombucha. This means you must be careful to not drink too much to avoid an upset stomach. If you have acquired a taste for beer, then you likely could do the very same with kombucha.

Do you like to drink kombucha?
I suggest you seek out a local brew if you have never tasted it before.

This blood orange, carrot, and ginger blend is one of my favorites!

You can get some good flavours out there. Have you considered doing your own? It's easy and cheap as. My fav is grabbing fresh pineapple juice, adding about 10% to a bottle and topping up with Kombucha.

I did make my own kombucha last year for awhile. I could never get mine to taste anywhere near as good as that which I’ve bought from stores.

I think the secret comes to do the usual 1-2 weeks brew, then bottle with the lid on for a day or two at room temperature to build up the CO2 and make it nice and fizzy.
I found winter to be a bit harder to get that right.

If you have kids, you can use Formosan black tea (Caffeine-free), my daughter loves it, so it's plus to get those probiotics without having to pay top dollar in supplements ;).

Ah I love that one and that brand!

This one might be my favorite brand right now. Not sure if it’s common but around here they sell it all o we the place. I love the watermelon one!

The brand you have there has got a lot of flavors though so I like it as well.

Health•Ade also has a Rose flavor that I love.

GT's is probably the most popular brand that I know of. It was the first one I ever tried. I've had the watermelon before, it's pretty good.

Nice I haven’t tried the rose flavor yet, looks like I will have to find that one out.

Besides whole paycheck (Whole Foods) I haven’t found any on tap or any ‘craft’ brands or places. I haven’t done a lot of research but I feel like the coastal towns that are rich would have something like that. Will let you know what I find!

There is only one place that I know of locally that has kombucha on tap. I may venture up to try it sometime this summer.

When I was recently in Hilton Head (a rich coastal town) I did indeed find several different brands of local brews. So you are right about that 🧐

I would love to try this drink, I am from drinking beer, without a doubt I could get used to it, although I do not think I have seen it here in my city.
I appreciate you letting us know. Enjoy it many

Yes, dear friend @daltono, I am going to look for it until I find it, last I bought on the web, I will not stay without trying it.
