This past weekend @flowerbaby and I spent much of our time together caring for animals while friends and family were out of town.
One of the houses we visited had a pool for us to use. Along with two German shepherds, and four cats. The shepherds were gentle giants and the cats were all pretty nonchalant.
We visited my dad since he was home with my parent’s dogs alone while my mom was out of town. You can see Remy the poodle and his hilarious snaggletooth.
Of course there was @flowerbaby’s dog Juno also. She went to the groomer for the first time ever and got a sanitary trim. We also got a new brush so that we could keep her undercoat from shedding so much. As you can see in the photo, her hair was all over the lawn. She sure was happy to cuddle and be pet after her grooming.
The last photo is of a peculiar rock that @flowerbaby found buried in the gravel on her driveway. Come to find out it is a trilobite fossil, which could be as old as 520 million years! That was an amazing find, bravo to her for having such a good eye for cool rocks.
It was quite the mixture of activities throughout this day, we enjoyed our time together as always. I hope you got some enjoyment out of this blog as well.
Hello dear friend @daltono good night
What a beautiful place, I love the pool, I hope you have enjoyed them a lot, the images as always very beautiful.
I appreciate you teaching us.
have a wonderful night and a happy rest
I love swimming. This pool was shady after 2pm, so it was only a good place to swim in the morning. Still it was a good time.
It makes me very happy to hear that, how good that @flowerbaby found that ancient stone. I imagine the pleasant surprise to learn that it was very old
I take this opportunity to wish you a wonderful weekend
I am glad we both had a long relaxing weekend together:)

Aren't you scared of that german shepherd? Sorry but I don't recognise that fossil?
It was actually the first German Shepherds I have met. They both were more scared of me than me scared of them.
They were both older and gentle giants. Once they warmed up to me they were even friendly enough to let me pet them.
Now I will say they were huge! Their pays were almost as big as my feet!
Here is more info on the fossil https://www.britannica.com/animal/trilobite
Ah, I just thought that the german shepherd didn't know you because it will bite for sure. Thanks let me look into it.
I was worried about the same thing at first. I was a total stranger to the dogs, but @flowerbaby had met them before. Luckily they were not aggressive, they were timid and well behaved dogs.
Haha good to know because I think that kind of dogs is huge.
