Hey lovelies
It's your favorite girl @debbie-ese
Welcome to my blog
I will be sharing with you how I made my Sunday Fried rice with coleslaw
The major ingredient to make my fried rice and coleslaw are long grain rice or basmati rice, beef, carrot, green pepper, onions, curry powder, black pepper, vegetable oil, salt, thyme, stock cubes.
The first process you start with is too boil your beef for about 10 minutes with little amount of water. Then add more water and leave to cook till its soft enough. Pour your stock (the water left from cooking the beef) into a bowl and set aside for later use.
Afterwards, wash the onions, carrots, pepper and set aside. Cut and dice the onion into desired sizes, peel and cut the carrots into small sizes, cut your pepper into small size too and set aisde.
Now, parboil your rice in a pot and when it's almost done, wash and use a sieve to drain the water. After that pour the stock in a pot and allow to boil, add more water that would let the rice cook. Add the parboiled rice, add seasonings (stock cubes, curry powder, onions, and salt). Leave to cook till its done.
In a frying pan or another pot, heat up vegetable oil, add the sliced and diced vegetables and pepper, that is, carrots, green ball pepper, peas, etc, stir fry for about 2 minutes.
Next, you'd mix the rice and vegetables that has been stir-fried in batches. Pour some amount of rice into the pot, mix with the vegetables and stir for about 2 minutes. Repeat this step till the rice and vegetables is finished.
For the coleslaw, wash and slice your cabbage and carrot into tiny pieces. Some people add other things like egg, cucumber etc but for the one I made today I'm using only carrot and cabbage. When food is about to be served mi I it with your mayonnaise.
