The photo was taken in Rome, Italy. The building is the Pantheon, one of the great buildings of European architectural history, which has been in the center of Rome for almost 200 years. In the Middle Ages it was converted into a church and eventually it became a symbol of Rome. The man was standing right under the opening in the roof which makes it looks like he is in the spotlight!
