The photo was taken at Taj Mahal in Agra, India. The mausoleum was built by emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal who dies when she gave birth to their 14th child. The mausoleum itself is standing on a raised marble platform. In each corner stands a slender, white minaret. This is one of them. They lean slightly outwards. It's believed it might be designed that way in case of earthquakes. In that case they would fall away from the Taj.
