yes - it was. (and in some ways - still is.)
but we live and learn and grow.
hey, i'm proof that there can be change! My mother and father got married 4 years after it was illegal to do so. And I am the product of their love
(i'm a variety of nationalities - but generally, half-black/half-white)
so... yes.
we live and learn and grow.
and even with the sadness - I can still see the beauty of that place and appreciate it for what it is, and what it is no longer.
