The Covid-19 pandemic has changed many economic conditions in my country, Indonesia. Many people have lost their jobs because of this pandemic, employees have been laid off, many businesses have closed down, etc. Likewise my family at home and most people have to survive from the money savings. Switching jobs with fresh business ideas and creativity we have to live with to still be able to have an income. The home business idea is one of the business opportunities that many people take, apart from being less risky and can be started with a small amount of capital.
My family switched business by producing snacks, from crackers made from papaya fruit and also some frozen foods. In modern times like this, fast food like frozen food has become anyone's favorite. Frozen food is also chosen by many mothers as a lunch idea for their children, because it is fast and easy to cook. We chose the popularity of frozen food as a promising business opportunity, because this business is easy to run at home and does not take a lot of energy.
The following is my family's homemade Rissoles recipe. One of the frozen foods we sell. Let's check the recipe 😊
Ingredients
For 30 pieces
Rissoles Skin Wrapping |
---|
• 250 gram wheat flour |
• 3 tbsp tapioca flour |
• 1 whole egg |
• 1 tbsp milk powdered |
• 1/2 tsp salt |
• 2 tbsp of vegetable oil |
• 500 - 600 ml of water |
• margarine for the Teflon spread so it's not sticky |
Rissoles Filling |
---|
• 75 gram Corn |
• 200 gram potatoes |
• 100 gram carrot |
• 20 gram leek |
• 10 gram celery |
• Seasonings: garlic, onion, pepper, sugar, salt, flavoring. |
Others Ingredients | |
---|---|
• Coating | 1 cup bread flour |
• Dye | 1 big bowl of Wheat flour mix with water |
Directions
Make the filling:
• Wash the vegetables, cut into small cubes
• Saute the mashed garlic, shallot and pepper until fragrant.
• Put the corn, carrots and potatoes, add water. Cook is almost shrunk.
• Put the leek leaves and celery, add salt and flavor, test the taste. Add the cornstarch solution, stir and cook until thick and cooked.
• Turn off the stove and add 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise blue cheese (optional). And let it cool.
Making Rissoles Skin
• Mix flour with cornstarch, stir well.
• Add 1 tbsp powdered milk and salt, mix well.
• Add eggs, stir briefly, then add water.
• After being evenly mixed then add the vegetable oil and mix well.
• Strain the batter and mold one by one the Rissoles Skin batter in a non-stick pan until it runs out.
Now... Time for wrapping and make it beautiful Rissoles 😂
• For the first, prepare the flour dough for dipping and the panir flour for coating.
• Then prepare the Rissoles skin, put the vegetable filling and wrap one by one like a pillow.
• Dip the Rissoless which has been wrapped in the flour mixture and finally coat it with Panir flour.
And after the process finish you can store the Rissoles to the freezer, And if you want to serve it, just remove it from the freezer, fry it in deep hot oil and the Rissoles are ready to be consumed, can be served with chili sauce or with spicy pickles.
