I wish my book of life was written in pencil … There are a few pages I would like to erase
There are times in life we wish we could change the past and make amends for the mistakes we've made. But it's unfortunate that the past can't be erased and we just have to live with it. Everyone has a past, these pasts are written with a pen that can't be erased, they always leave a print that reminds us of either the wrong decisions or the right ones we once took. These past are either our ladder to greater or the lever to pull us down. We wish there was no past, like the life we regret never happened to us, like we were wise enough to know what decision to take, but no, they're just wishes that can't be erased.
While growing up, our ability to see the future was shallow, we all believed that what we desired was the right thing for us. Our youthful exuberance exposed us to many adventures that left us in regret, some were mistakes that remain with us forever, some mistakes only brought stigma for a while but they come with consequences most times that we aren't ready to face.
I wish my life history was written in pencil, so light that I could erase some aspect of it I never wanted to surface in the future and face a life where nothing could hunt me from The past, or leave me in regrets. Experience they say is the best teacher but sometimes some individuals don't recover from this lesson to gain the experience they needed. Now that our past can't be erased but remains a thing that lives with us forever. it's important to accept the inking but live with the lesson to guide our tomorrow
