I think, the main issue is sometimes people are not technically sound. And many times who are skilled remain busy. That may be the issue of your laptop or may be not.
But when these guys are trying to fraud us or talk illegal way to earn extra, then this is really a problem for us as we don't have that much knowledge on hardware operations. Better is to have some knowledge on basics of computer both hardware and software. But its not possible all the time because we all are from different background of study.
