Hoy caminé demasiado, me excedí...

Me invitaron a apoyar a unos amigos que estarían ofreciendo un concierto gratuito en el Centro Comercial Paseo las Delicias, la intención era muy linda, una escuela de Canto entre niños y adolescentes, unidos en un canto por la esperanza y gratitud por la vida.

I walked too far today; I overdid it...

I was invited to support some friends who were putting on a free concert at the Paseo las Delicias Shopping Centre. It was a lovely initiative: a singing school for children and teenagers, coming together in song to express hope and gratitude for life.

Caminé demasiado porque aproveché hacer unas diligencias con documentos importantes, se me hacía más fácil y rápido moverme de un lugar a otro caminando, me olvidé que en estos momentos no tengo buena condición física para eso, aguante la jornada, pero mi cuerpo me esta pasando factura con dolor y fatiga extrema. Aun así, disfruté de un día distinto y de las actividades.

Durante el evento tuve mi epifanía... me visualicé en cosas que quizá estén por venir, a veces pienso que no podré más mi cuerpo esta muy cansado, quiero vivir tranquila y darme mejor calidad de vida, haré un par de cosas que vi en mi epifanía.

I walked far too much because I took the opportunity to run some errands involving important documents; it seemed easier and quicker to get from one place to another on foot. I’d forgotten that I’m not in good enough physical shape for that at the moment. I managed to get through the day, but my body is taking its toll on me with pain and extreme fatigue. Even so, I enjoyed a different sort of day and the activities.

During the event, I had a moment of realisation… I pictured myself in situations that might lie ahead. Sometimes I think I can’t go on any longer – my body is so tired – but I want to live peacefully and improve my quality of life. I’m going to do a couple of things that came to me during that moment of realisation.

Reunirme con personas positivas y apoyarlas, ser recíproca porque también me han ayudado en su momento, es una gran satisfacción, espero poder seguir contribuyendo. Me hizo mucho bien, lo pasé muy bien y lo disfruté mucho.

Getting together with positive people and supporting them, and returning the favour because they’ve helped me in the past too, is a great source of satisfaction; I hope I can continue to make a contribution. It did me a world of good; I had a brilliant time and really enjoyed it.
