Celebrating birthdays is one of my favorite things on my list of What makes me happy. I know that some people prefer not to celebrate birthdays and I fully understand them although not completely, but celebrating one more year is reason enough to thank life for living one more year of experiences, of beautiful things, of some not so beautiful and of things Wonderful, for this reason we decided to take my friend Gelmary to lunch at Semolina, a restaurant in my city.
Celebrar cumpleaños, es una de mis cosas favoritas en mi lista de Lo que me genera felicidad. Sé que algunas personas prefieren no celebrar cumpleaños y los entiendo totalmente aunque no del todo, pero celebrar un año más es motivo suficiente para agradecer a la vida por vivir un año más de experiencias, de cosas bonitas, de algunas no tan bonitas y de cosas maravillosas, por esta razón decidimos llevar a mi amiga Gelmary a almorzar en Sémola, un restaurante de mi ciudad.
Sémola, is a restaurant in San Cristóbal, located in a working-class neighborhood, they can look for their account on Instagram, they sell different types of pasta prepared by themselves, they are very rich and some are accessible to your pocket. We had previously told him that they had told us about this place, that they sold very rich pasta at a good price and that we wanted to take it here and enjoy a good conversation together.
Sémola, es un restaurante en San Cristóbal, ubicado en barrio obrero, pueden buscar su cuenta en Instagram, venden distintos tipos de pastas preparadas por ellos mismos, son muy ricas y algunas accesibles a tu bolsillo. Con anterioridad le habíamos comentado que nos habían hablado de este lugar, que vendían pastas muy ricas a buen precio y que la queríamos llevar aquí y disfrutar juntas las 3 de una buena conversación.
The idea was to go for lazaña or better known as pasticho in my country, at only 3.5 $ quite cheap since if you see the photos it is a great dish, I advise you to go with a good appetite so that you can with everything, we eat breakfast late, We could not do everything and we asked to take away and share at home, the good thing is that you have to choose if you want traditional (with meat), chicken or ripe banana.
La idea era ir por lazaña o más conocido como pasticho en mi país, a tan solo 3.5$ bastante económico ya que si ven las fotos es un gran plato, te aconsejo ir con buen apetito para que puedas con todo, nosotras como desayunamos tarde, no pudimos con todo y pedimos para llevar y compartir en casa, lo bueno es que tienes para escoger si quieres tradicional (con carne), de pollo o de plátano maduro.
We ordered traditional since we did not want fried foods and the chicken one did not provoke us, this place is on my list of places to have cheap and delicious lunch from now on, of course there are other dishes, if you like pasta with seafood or pasta carbonara, there is variety and everything is very rich, we were looking for economy and accept different payment methods, this is very important, because we had bolivars and currently in my country, very few places accept bolivars.
Pedimos tradicional ya que no queríamos frituras y el de pollo no nos provocaba, este lugar esta en mi lista de lugares para almorzar económico y delicioso a partir de ahora, por supuesto hay otros platos, si gustas pastas con mariscos o pasta a la carbonara, hay variedad y todo es muy rico, nosotras buscábamos economía y aceptan distintos métodos de pago, esto es muy importante, pues nosotras contábamos con bolívares y actualmente en mi país, muy pocos lugares aceptan bolívares.
My friend looked for us at home and we went to the restaurant, at first we did not know where it was located but we called a friend who had already attended there and explained the address, this restaurant recommendation was made by our friend Juan Vicente and that is why we thought it would be good to go, the place is very fresh, there is a variety of pastas, the attention is incredible. Definitely a great place to have lunch and have a nice time
Mi amiga nos buscó en casa y fuimos al restaurante, al principio no sabíamos donde estaba ubicado pero llamamos a una amiga que ya había asistido allí y nos explicó la dirección, esta recomendación de restaurante la hizo nuestro amiga Juan Vicente y por eso pensamos que seria bueno ir, el sitio es muy fresco, hay variedad de pastas, la atención es increíble. Definitivamente un excelente lugar para almorzar y pasar un rato agradable.
To drink they offer different drinks, they told us about an incredible tinto de verano but as our budget was not enough we did not ask for it, however we asked for panela water with lemon and guys, it was phenomenal, everything was very tasty. Lazaña fills you, it has a good flavor, good cheese and good meat, a succulent and exquisite dish, we are all satisfied and happy, so if you come here, remember to go to Semolina, you can look for them on Instagram.
Para tomar ofrecen distintas bebidas, nos hablaron de un tinto de verano increíble pero como nuestro presupuesto no alcanzaba no lo pedimos, sin embargo pedimos agua panela con limón y chicos, estaba fenomenal, muy rico todo. La lazaña te llena, tiene buen sabor, buen queso y buena carne, un plato suculento y exquisito, todas quedamos satisfechas y contentas, así que si vienen aquí, recuerden ir a Sémola, los pueden buscar en Instagram.
They sell desserts, so if you like you can ask them for one with a candle to sing the birthday, they sell a brownie with ice cream, quite good, you can see a bit of the menu in the photos and the place that really although it is small is quite comfortable and has air conditioning, you can talk with your friends and catch up in a place like this, as we did, we need to see each other.
Ellos venden postres, así que si gustas puedes pedirles uno con una vela para cantar el cumpleaños, venden un brownie con helado, bastante bueno, pueden veer un poco del menú en las fotos y el sitio que realmente aunque es pequeño es bastante cómodo y tiene aire acondicionado, puedes conversar con tus amigas y ponerte al día en un sitio como este, como hicimos nosotras, que ya hacia falta vernos.
