Of course we need a break when we study and what better way than to go out to eat in a good place where the food is excellent, and yes, this time we went with our college classmate and friend Juan Vicente Gómez to Rancho Bonito, a very nice restaurant. from the city of San Cristóbal, and to which my sister and I had not had the opportunity to go, but this time we did and enjoyed it.
La verdad es que nisiquiera teniamos planes de salir, pero la verdad es que estabamos tan cansados y no teniamos ganas de cocinar, así que por eso decidimos ir y también nos acompañó Maria Fernanda (la novia de nuestro amigo Juan Vicente) quien es una chica genial y a mi hermana y a mi nos agrada, pues también hizo que fuera un gran momento porque estuvimos conversando mientras esperábamos la comida en el lugar.
The truth is that we didn't even have plans to go out, but the truth is that we were so tired and we didn't feel like cooking, so that's why we decided to go and we were also accompanied by Maria Fernanda (the girlfriend of our friend Juan Vicente) who is a girl. Great and my sister and I like it, because it also made it a great moment because we were talking while we waited for the food at the place.
Este restaurante - bar (pues también venden tragos y cocteles) es un sitio muy tradicional pues además venden carne y cochino asado, y también platos criollos que nos recuerdan al llano, o por lo menos a mí me recuerda al llano, pues a pesar de vivir aquí en Táchira la verdad es que no nací aquí, mi hermana al igual que yo, somos llaneras nacidas en el estado Apure y amamos todo lo que nos recuerda a nuestro llano, por eso hicimos un par de fotos del sitio para compartirlo con ustedes.
This restaurant - bar (they also sell drinks and cocktails) is a very traditional place because they also sell meat and roast pork, and also Creole dishes that remind us of the plain, or at least it reminds me of the plain, because despite living here in Táchira the truth is that I was not born here, my sister like me, we are llaneras born in the Apure state and we love everything that reminds us of our plain, that's why we took a couple of photos of the site to share it with you .
Una vez allí sentados y luego de recibir nuestros menús, nos decidimos por un combo de hamburguesa llamado combo festival proteina, el cual incluye 5 hamburguesas: una clásica, otra de pollo crispy, 1 de carne en var y 2 de cerdo, las cuales venían acompañadas de muchas papas fritas con queso cheddar y tocineta, aros de cebolla, trozos de queso frito y huevos de codorniz, fue el combo ideal para nosotros por un precio de 18 $ o 60.000 pesos colombianos, que además incluía la bebida.
Once we were seated there and after receiving our menus, we decided on a hamburger combo called festival protein combo, which includes 5 hamburgers: one classic, one with crispy chicken, 1 with varnished meat and 2 with pork, which came Accompanied by many fries with cheddar cheese and bacon, onion rings, pieces of fried cheese and quail eggs, it was the ideal combo for us for a price of $ 18 or 60,000 Colombian pesos, which also included the drink.
Antes de traer las hamburguesas nos trajeron cinco tipos de salsas diferentes que no probamos hasta después que llegó nuestro pedido. Cada una de las chicas nos comimos una hamburguesa, y por supuesto Juan Vicente se comió 2, yo elegí la de pollo crispy, y les cuento que a pesar de que las hamburguesas se veian pequeñas quedamos totalmente llenos, aunque no dejamos nada de comida jajaja y el servicio de el chico que nos atendió (Eugenio) fue excelente.
Before bringing the burgers, they brought us five different types of sauces that we didn't try until after our order arrived. Each of the girls ate a hamburger, and of course Juan Vicente ate 2, I chose the crispy chicken one, and I tell them that even though the hamburgers looked small we were totally full, although we did not leave any food hahaha and the service from the guy who attended us (Eugenio) was excellent.
Después de un par de minutos de haber comido, fuimos a la caja a cancelar y como había un inconveniente para cancelar, mi hermana y yo fuimos a hacernos un par de fotos con nuestras amigas vacas que se veian excelente en el lugar, y luego si volvimos al área de caja, realmente la pasamos muy bien en este sitio y comimos delicioso.
After a couple of minutes of having eaten, we went to the cashier to cancel and since there was an inconvenience to cancel, my sister and I went to take a couple of photos with our empty friends that looked excellent in the place, and then yes We went back to the checkout area, we really had a great time at this site and we ate delicious.
