- Don't blame Republic TV, but WPP that owns Mindshare, GroupM, Mediacom, Grey, Ogilvy (the last two my alma maters) Wavemaker, Wunderman JWT, Y&R, Landor, Kantar and other agencies
News media in India keep going to new lows as the years go by. This is part of the bigger problem we are facing today in my country. The reporting quality and priorities of most of the mainstream news channels is pretty much 'rekt' today.

The news channels are just showing the shits they all are in the pocket of the government. Its been More then a year I haven't watched the news channel's at all😐😶🙏

I stopped watching "news" channels a long time ago. They have become more like soaps now... journalism now is a shadow of what it once used to be

i do not agree, that's your view only and i respect that, but for a long time this country has been running the same old lutients media narrative, and suddenly in the last 2 years the narrative started changing, people are feeling threatened and saying all kinds of things specially against Republic media network. First of all who are we to judge how a media group should operate, if you don't like the least you can do is stop watching it and switch on your favorite channel, there are millions of people still love and watch Republic TV specially in rural india. So saying you dont like Republic Tv should be your personal view, and not tell others what they should be watching. Free media should be encouraged instead that listens to the voice of common people, and Republic is doing that.
The TRP scam against Republic TV was fake, it was of India Today, for which India Today had to pay a fine of 5 lakh Rupees.
