Along with the principle as a community service, students who do KKN in a place are responsible for actively participating in increasing the potential of the local community. In other words, the work programs that are carried out must be in accordance with the conditions and needs of the community.
For example, residents in a KKN area are dominated by wood craftsmen. KKN students can help improve the marketing of these handicrafts through digital marketing. Of course, the work program offered must be negotiated with all KKN student participants and with the permission of local residents.

First, KKN is your opportunity to learn with the community. In the example above, local residents can indeed learn about new ways to market their products. But at the same time, KKN students also learn directly about various handicrafts, to how to make them.
Second, through KKN activities, students have the opportunity to apply the knowledge they have acquired from college. Agricultural Products Technology students, for example, can help farmers in managing agricultural products so that they get better economic value.
But most importantly, regardless of the disciplinary background of each student, the KKN activities they participate in are opportunities to learn about the dynamics of life in society. During KKN, students learn and develop life skills which are no less important than their academic studies.
KKN activities are not without problems, indeed. But don't use the KKN problem that has stopped by your ear as a reference for your future KKN. Instead, we can learn a lot from the problems that have occurred so that there is no need to repeat the same mistakes. Isn't that right, pal?
