Finally, a change of weather is coming and it's showing a really nice view of the sunrise. Once again, the cloud formation looks painterly. It's definitely better than in previous days when it's foggy and gloomy.
I took these photos using my phone (Samsung S7 Edge) since I'm too excited to even get my DSLR. But it's all good since the camera on this phone can still produce decent photos. It's all about the light and less about the gadget. Although, DSLRs can produce a higher quality images, it doesn't greatly improve the quality photograph.
Anyway, I learned this interesting technique for when using a mobile phone to take photos, aim the focus on the bright spot of the view and then dial down brightness to create a balance between the light & dark parts of the image. It will surely produce an image with great contrast and the colors will pop as well. Here are the results...
