Let me introduce my @go-hive, and this is my first time writing in this hive community, I have long watched and learned about hives, and I learned about the hives of a friend who invited me to join, I am a father and have two children, My job is to make a traditional well ring, because I live in a village so there are still many people who use ground wells using the well ring as the main ingredient, different from cities that generally already use water from a water treatment company, or with a bore well.
A glimpse of my work
In carrying out my daily work as a well ring maker, the main ingredient needed is sand and cement, such as work for other concrete buildings, every time starting this work, mixing of cement and sand with enough water is enough, if excess water is usually able resulting in the collapse of the well ring, when we open it from the mold.
After the cement and sand are mixed or stirred evenly, what is done next is to prepare the material to be put into a mold, the mold for this well ring is made of iron plate, the point is to hold the cement and sand mixture until it hardens and forms a ring.
While waiting for the ring mold to be opened, usually I will tidy up the top of the ring to make it look more beautiful, the time needed for a well ring to be opened is 30 minutes to one hour, depending on the absorption capacity of the water, and weather conditions.
Within a day I was able to make a well ring mold of at least 10 rings, and a maximum of 12 rings, this I have done for 12 years, despite the hard work in doing this job, but the economic factors for the needs of my family that made me have to endure this job, I also do not have expertise in other fields of work, of course.
