Tie & dye and batik is common amongst yoruba tribe and hausa in Nigeria

I have very deep and strong passion towards it and also so committed to teaching others

The process is very simple provided the materials are available

Materials include : 100% cotton, caustic soda, hydrosulphite, dye stuffs, raffia, (for batik wax)

The precess is simple: - prepare your chemical usually by mixing caustic soda + hydrosulphite + dye stuff in measured hot water and allow it to cool.

Tie your fabric in different tying pattern or use your wax to make patterns on it.

Dip your fabric inside the chemical and bring it out and allow to oxidize, rinse with water and spread to dry it
