Good day freewriters! This is my freewrite entry this time for the prompt "working hard". The 5-Minute Freewrite Challenge is an initiative by @mariannewest. Everyone are all welcome to participate in this challenge by checking the profile of @mariannewest, and @freewritehouse.
Being varsity guy, and the top student, it's easy to say that Ivan is the most popular student in the university. Many female students has a crush on him, and guys wanted to be friends with him. Due to his stature in the university, Ivan is the kind of guy who acts superior than anyone else.
Jon is a scholar in the university, and a transferee from another school. In a class where he's classmates with Ivan, he's the only student who had a great argument in the class alongside the latter. Feeling threatened, Ivan confronted him after the class, and asserted not to come his way. Jon was unfazed, and he kept working hard for his scholarship.
There's this student, Jake, wanted to be on Ivan's group. At the front of many students, Ivan told Jake to lick his shoes as initiation. Oher students seemed having fun on what's happening, and cheering Jake to lick Ivan's shoes. As his mouth come close to the shoes, someone pulled him up tp stop what he's doing.
Ivan got mad, and even intensified when he saw it's Jon who stopped Jake. The other students are cheering on Ivan when a supposed brawl is about to happen when the dean arrived, and intervened.
While walking at the mall, some people are looking at Ivan murmuring, and trying to avoid him. When he opened his social media account, he saw the video of him bullying Jake, and threatening Jon. Criticisms are also thrown towards the university as their students condoned and encouraged bullying.
