LO QUE DICEN LAS PAREDES / WHAT THE WALLS SAY...
A veces, cuando salgo a la calle con mi cámara en la mano, no encuentro casi nada que fotografiar. Entonces comienzo a fotografiar cosas que se salen del común de mis sujetos acostumbrados. En días pasados, tuve la ocurrencia de hacer fotografías de las paredes del pueblo que estaban pintadas con “expresiones”… Y digo así “expresiones” porque no se me ocurre nada mejor para ese tipo de manifestación básica que con frecuencia se puede ver en las paredes de un pueblo o cualquiera de nuestras ciudades. Sometimes, when I go out on the street with my camera in hand, I find almost nothing to photograph. Then I start taking pictures of things that are out of my usual subjects. In recent days, I had the idea of taking pictures of the walls of the town that were painted with "expressions"... And I say "expressions" because I can't think anything better way to name this kind of basic manifestation, that can often be seen on the walls of a town or any of our cities. Esta es por lo tanto, una publicación inherente a un “descarte” a un “optar” por hacer algún tipo de fotos que se salga de lo cotidiano y de alguna manera “rellene” un lapsus de ausencia de contexto dentro de mi habitual afición de hacer fotografías. No sé si se trata de una publicación relacionada con fotografía estrictamente, quizás lo más relevante de estas imágenes tenga que ver con “lo que delatan” respecto a los autores de las cosas que se pintan, escriben o dibujan en una pared. Es por eso que no puedo clasificar esta publicación como de temática fotográfica estrictamente. This is, therefore, a publication inherent to a "discard" to an "opting" to make some kind of photos that get out of the quotidian and somehow "fill" a lapse of absence of context within my usual hobby of taking pictures. I don't know if this is strictly a photography-related publication, perhaps the most relevant thing about these images has to do with "what they give away" about the authors of the things that are painted, written or drawn on a wall. That is why I cannot classify this publication as strictly about photography themed. Bien, procedo con las imágenes a las cuales me refiero. En realidad no sabría decir si pueden por si mismas generar algún tipo de apreciación o reacción, pero la misma complejidad de algunas me ha impulsado a recopilarlas y publicarlas. He realizado edición muy libre, yo diría que “anárquica” en varias de estas imágenes, tan libre y anárquica como su mismo contenido. Well, I proceed with the images I am referring to. Actually I could not say if they can by themselves generate some kind of appreciation or reaction, but the very complexity of some of them has prompted me to compile and publish them. I have done very free editing, I would say "anarchic" in several of these images, as free and anarchic as their content itself. Gracias por tu visita @gabstar ... Ciertamente, la diversidad que podemos encontrar en las paredes es enorme. Yo soy más de hacer fotos mas convencionales, pero esto de las pintas en las paredes me está llamando la atención recientemente. Quizás, afinado mejor el lente y buscando en mejores lugares, pueda lograr un set de imágenes más elocuentes.... Saludos.
