Celebrating My 45th Birthday on the Weekend.

Wow. Where does the time fly. On Saturday I celebrated my 45yh Birthday.

I didn't plan anything special and I almost forgot it was my birthday because we were so busy with Jordan moving etc that I didn't even have time to even think of planing anything and I didn't really feel like celebrating since I am still feeling pretty sad knowing that Jordan is not here.

Plus I had to work and it was actually the busiest day so far for our clinic and so I stayed at work a bit longer than the usual.

We were supposed to get together with our friends on the weekend just for a BBQ but because I was working on Saturday, I thought that my friend would make the BBQ on Sunday, but right after work she called and invited us for Saturday, so we went to visit.

We like to go visit my friend and her husband, (which actually was my manager at CBI Health but now she just works from her home which is located on 1.5 acre land) and sit outside around a fire.

To my surprise, my friend found out that it was my birthday and instead of making hamburgers she made a special dinner for us, which was amazing.

We had some delicious chicken with some very yummy toppings on top and some rice and some fresh beans from her garden.

She has also made me a beautiful bouqet of flowers from her garden just for my birthday. So sweet.

We had a wonderful time with our friends and we also enjoyed some cake.

This was a very nice surprise and a great way to spend your birthday, which like I said I wasn't even planning.

I love the garden my friend has on her land and we spent quite a bit of time just checking it out because I love gardening, plus she has her own ducks and bee hives, which I will share all about in my future post.
